Today starts something completely different for me, I'm starting a blog! My husband has blogged for years, but I never really had anything to say. But a month and a half after starting my Avon business, I have lots to say!
At the beginning of the year I was feeling a bit lost. I felt like something was missing, I was a bit bored. Now, don't get me wrong. I love my job, I love my husband, I love my kids. I love my pug, and I tolerate my beagle. (haha!) But, I needed to do something for me. I remembered my mom always looking through Avon catalogs when I was younger, and me begging for nail polish. I thought I'd give it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the start up cost was only $15. I know most companies charge a LOT more. I also loved that when I signed up, I was able to start my eStore immediately. No waiting! I wasn't even aware that Avon had an online store to be truthful. I got started right away, and was even more happy to learn that Avon is still quite popular. Everyone I told was excited to order, and excited to find a representative.
So, a month and a half in, how's it going? I'm building my base, and sales are getting bigger every campaign. I'm finding people who are wanting to sign up to sell also, and I'm helping them along. My almost 12-year old daughter is probably the happiest. She's loving all the products I'm getting at a discount, and playing with them. Her birthday is coming up, and what did she ask for? Avon! It's good to know that Avon is for all ages, everyone across all age groups love that there is products out there for them.
